Why are we afraid of the elderly? Admit it, we are.

Many of us in the USA are so afraid of talking with , helping or even associating with the elderly, because we are afraid of them. Because we do not have the strength to know, that one day we too will become more and more dependent upon others.

We do not want to face our own mortality, so we have no patience for the seniors, we become irritated with their slowness.

And because of all of this, we mistreat them. And it sucks. And it is dead wrong.

I am just like you, so I know what I am writing about.
